Tips and Tricks for our DIY Photo Studio
- Small objects
- simply find a consistent backdrop
- natural curves
- simple colours
- use a piece of paper as background and use a household lamp as a studio
light
- DIY colour filter by using coloured plastic
- DIY light diffuser by using baking paper
- Medium objects
- use roll of paper as background
- fix to the wall and create a curve
- place object near window for the natural light
- DIY reflector by covering a board in kitchen foil
- DIY light diffuser by cutting a "L" shape form a thin plastic container and
fix it to the camera
- Large objects
- find a plain or consistent wall as background
- DIY softbox by cutting a hole in the base of a plastic bin, fix in a lamp
with tape and cover the top of the plastic bin with baking paper

Project 1B : Digital Imaging Exercise
Part 1- Hearst Mansion
This week project is to understand how to use quick selection
tools, layer mask, filters and colour correction in Photoshop. Mr.
Fauzi had provided a video and a slide tutorial to demonstrate us
on how to do this project.

After finishing doing Shazams final outcome, we need to do another one
with our own photo in it. We have to crop our photo and complete it by
using the same steps that refer to the latest one.
