REFLECTION

Throughout these 14 weeks of learning, I explored a lot of fun things when doing DPI assignments. Thus, I also learned a lot of knowledge and skills in designing stuff that will be very useful for my further academics. At first, I’m totally a newbie in using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. I was extremely anxious when I was doing my second assignment, which was digital collage and that was the first assignment we were using Adobe Illustrator. As time goes by, I slowly get comfortable in using these two and I also find it interesting when doing my project.These 14 weeks, I also appreciated that our lecturer Mr. Fauzi always lets us design our works freely and we will be able to use our creativity to present our work. I like the way he teaches because it's more chill and he also gives us sufficient time to do our work. I have also learned a lot of photoshoot techniques while Mr. Fauzi taught us in one of the lectures and I was also able to apply it to my life. When it comes to the final project, I also got stuck when doing the After Effect animation, but luckily I also got through it and came out with the result that I wanted. After I learned DPI in this first semester, I have also learned how hard it is to accomplish one good project by using a lot of time, patience, skills, etc. While producing a good outcome we also have to take care of the detail part which is an important role in design. In conclusion, I had a lot of fun in DPI class and I totally got more interested in designing. I will be working harder in the next semester to get one more step closer to my goal of being a good designer.
