Experience
Over these past 14 weeks, Design Research Methodology is always a module that I think it's very difficult for me to adapt with but in fact I have also learned a lot of valuable insights in this module too. From the first step of doing a research proposal, then doing critical review on the 3 articles, start doing data collection and analysis and the last is doing a presentation of the overall works. It is something very new to me and I’m slowly finding it interesting. Although I had faced quite a lot of difficulties at the start of this module, I chose a topic that was not really suitable for UIUX research, but I quickly changed it and revised it multiple times, these are all the opportunities to let me learn in the studies. Thus, It has been a long journey for me to do research in this module, and I also made a breakthrough when doing data  collection. I did ask the students on campus to be part of my participants. I think that is a very fun and interesting experience for me when getting through my task 3. Besides, doing research work is not an easy job, it includes every detail and data that have to go through, and to show a more professional outcome. I also very much appreciate my lecturer, Ms. Anis, who always gives us feedback that is really useful and valuable. Ms. Anis also patiently leads us step by step to accomplish our every task.

Observations
I observed that there is no shortcut when doing research, every step should be achieved to get the final results. It needs a lot of patience to read through the literature, making decisions on what I should input in the research and making data collection and analysing it. I had also faced some problems at first, because I didn't really understand what research needed but till now I had gained a lot of knowledge about the process of research. I also observed that I had a deeper understanding of what visual design is, and realising the impact of it could highly affect user trust. In addition, UIUX gathered different vital insights that I haven’t explored and I am very excited for the further exploration journey of it.

Findings
Throughout these 4 tasks, I really improved my research skills and also developed my problem-solving skills because of facing unexpected difficulties. I am always finding solutions to solve the low rate of responses in the survey, getting familiar with doing research and also keep trying on adapting different strategies. Overall, I found that I have the most interest in doing data collection. I would be excited to design the questions, getting the responses from different people and also figuring out how to reach up the responses that I need to archive. I think the process of it is satisfying when I achieve all the goals that are setted. This experience enriched my path of learning, I believe that this will be a valuable gift for my further academics.
