REFLECTION
Experience: Throughout these 14 weeks, it was such an enriching journey. Every task had its own set of difficulties and opportunities for development. On my own, the Aesop case study helped me better comprehend minimalist design and high-end branding. My innovative problem-solving abilities to strike a balance between practicality and aesthetic appeal were put to the test in the packaging for the loose products. The group projects emphasized the dynamics of teamwork, especially the packaging for cultured milk and the coffee cup design. Peer collaboration offered a variety of viewpoints, but it also required compromise and good communication. Even though there were frustrating times, particularly during the feedback loops and modifications, the finished product was finally improved. Together, these projects helped me develop my abilities to solve design problems while striking a balance between individual inventiveness and team cohesion.

Observations: During this journey, I realized how important is packaging design. The Aesop case study demonstrated how a brand's identity can be communicated and trust built through tiny nuances and simplicity. While group projects like the coffee cup and cultured milk packaging highlighted the necessity of alignment between concept and functionality, designing for loose goods highlighted the significance of combining usefulness and aesthetics.

Findings: This process taught me that successful packaging design is rooted in balancing creativity with usability. Collaboration and feedback played a vital role in improving designs, showing the value of diverse perspectives. I also realized that setbacks are an inevitable part of the creative process, but they offer invaluable lessons. Resilience and adaptability are key traits that not only elevate design work but also foster personal growth.
