REFLECTION
Experience: Over the past 14 weeks, I have gained a wealth of invaluable knowledge from this module. The journey of completing my assignments has been a significant learning experience for me. Publishing Design is a fascinating module, and I thoroughly enjoyed every task we undertook. Despite facing stressful moments and challenges, I found immense joy in the process. The feedback and guidance from Mr. Hijjaz have been truly invaluable, and I deeply appreciate the creative freedom he provided, allowing us to achieve our desired outcomes. The experience of publishing a book was especially enjoyable, and if given the opportunity, I would love to create another book in the future. Overall, this module has been an enriching and enjoyable learning experience, and I'm looking forward to applying the knowledge I've gained in real-life projects in the future.
Observations: Throughout the learning process, I observed that publishing a book demands significant attention to detail and time investment at every stage. Every element plays a crucial role in achieving a polished outcome. For example, the choice of fonts, experimenting with various layouts, and selecting appropriate images all influence the final design in unique ways. These subtle details require thoughtful consideration to ensure a cohesive and compelling result.
Findings: This module has greatly expanded my creativity, particularly in illustration. I owe part of this growth to Pinterest, which served as an excellent resource for discovering the style and vibes I aimed to achieve in my designs. I also learned to utilize color and typography effectively to ensure consistency and coherence across the entire project.
